Liz supports the Managing Partners in identifying, evaluating, and managing investments as well discovering innovative ways to attract new investments and adding value to the existing portfolio.
María Eugenia Girón // IE Premium & Prestige Business Observatory
She serves at the Board of Directors of Corporacion Financiera Alba, Real Fábrica de Tapices and Oceana as well as being Chairman of Fundación Diversidad. Expert in global premium brands strategy, growth and sustainable business development. She has 20 years of experience in the premium and luxury industryhaving.
Verónica Trapa // Managing Director of Swanlaab Venture Factory
The first Spanish-Israeli venture capital fund that invest in Spanish high tech start-ups. Prior to that Verónica promoted two entrepreneurial projects (Tu Chef and Life&Colors) between 2003 and 2011. She has also worked in the launch of viaPostal, the first private postal operator in Spain, and has worked for consultancy companies such as EY and IVC. She is a teacher at ICADE.
Duke Buchan III // U.S. Ambassador to Spain and Andorra
was sworn in by Vice President Michael R. Pence on December 11, 2017 as the U.S. Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain and the Principality of Andorra. Prior to arriving in Madrid, Mr. Buchan was CEO of Hunter Global Investors L.P., which he founded in 2001 in New York City.
Laura Holcha // Deputy Economic Counselor US. Embassy in Madrid
A career Foreign Service Officer since January 2006, Laura has served in Kosovo, Colombia, Georgia, and the Office of Russian Affairs in Washington. Before joining the State Department, she was a Spanish teacher.
Nicholas Zylberglajt // President of EYIF
Nicholas is the Co-Founder of the European Young Innovators Forum, the leading foundation for Youth Innovation in Europe. He also co-founded EU Startup Services, EYIF’s consulting company aimed at supporting European startups to secure EU funding having supported more than 1350 Startups in more than 20 EU countries.
