Federico has developed most of my professional career focused on R&D project management in Road Transportation in OHL Concesiones, one of the most important Transportation Road Operators worldwide as well as a leading company on R&D in the sector. One of my principal successes was Creating and Developing the R&D Department.

He has  been Project Coordinator of three important projects:

  • OASIS (Operation of Safe, Intelligent and Sustainable Highways) project (2008 – 2012) the largest R&D project in the Road Transportation sector in Spain.
  • FOTsis, R&D project funded by de European Comission (2011-2015),  one of pioneers initiatives in the developing of the Cooperative-Intelligent Transport System
  • Free-Flow Electronic Toll Collection System (2005 – 2008),

    He has  participated in the start-up of the Technological Subsidiary of OHL Concesiones (Traffic and Transport Systems – TTS), where he  contributed to the design, development and field implementation of most of the ITS solutions implanted in infrastructures from the company all over the world.

    In April 2016 he explored further professional challenges, becoming Chief Operational Officer of PGS, a SME (about 40 employees) of which he is  one of the founding shareholders. PGS is devoted to the Investment and Consultancy of SMEs. The main service offered consists of advising the company throughout the sales process, analysing the company, evaluating it and preparing the Information Memorandum.

    Nowadays, he work as a freelance, combining consultancy in the Transport and Mobility sector focus on Digital Transformation and Innovation; and Business Strategy Consultant for SMEs. I also keep collaborating with PGS in specific projects and as a Board Member of the company.

    He is also am also coordinating the launch of an Executive Master in New Technologies for Mobility Management. This is a degree from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), promoted by a team of the highest academic and business prestige.I am also part of the STA (Smart Transportation Alliance) team of advisors and experts and collaborating with Etelätär, as Innovation Manager. He is one the founders and promoters of the OHL Volunteers Group, an internal initiative of corporative volunteer within the Corporate Social Responsibility policies (http://www.voluntariosohl.com/en/) with a very active participation (2007 – 2016).
